This guide is actually filled with pretty solid advice it is geared solely to males, but you can get a general idea on most sections as to what applies to the ladies and is very punny.

You'll dig it, I just know it. This book was extremely cute, totally applied to my life, and definitely made me laugh out loud a few times. That said, if you aren't on the up-and-up on multiple geek franchises, don't be surprised if you end up lost. Thank you, Eric Smith and Quirk Books!
Which happens to be in both of those boxes, as well as several pieces of what I found in the book. My husband thought I was sick through the entire book due to the look on my face. It is more aimed at a male audience, but females will find good advice in here too. Yet, I feel persnickety to ask why couldn't the book be written from that view.
This shouldn't even be able to look at my other lovelies. That being said I still had a lot of fun reading this book. So while some portions of the book will apply to girls, many parts of it do not. So what are you waiting for?
The book is aimed more at the male than the female daters, but can apply to both. His demonstrations of geekdom work best when serving as metaphor, such as by giving examples of fictional characters to emulate or not. As of the time of this posting, I still have not read this book. The book talks about what kind of geek you are. Fundamentally, the book's title is where my problems with it start.

Unless you are a player on the Pittsburgh Penguins. For geeks, it can be downright impossible. The cover is cute and, well, I'm a geek and not all that great at meeting new people. Instead of treating someone's taste in reading matter as a red flag, use it as a jumping off point to ask questions. Offensive and horribly wrong.
She is just baffled that you can't see inside her to the geek she is and wonders if this is a prank. As a geek myself, I can't wait to get my hands on this book! Although Smith acknowledges early on that some of the advice can be applied to women looking to meet men, dating without there is no acknowledgement of the existence of other lifestyles. They might annoy some people, but I got a huge kick out of it. The issues of what to do when you are shot down are addressed as well, which is important because not everything will always work out. She's got the Tina Fey glasses on and the hair is thrown up in a mess, she's wearing clothes just frumpy enough you can't tell what kind of body she has. You keep your action figures in their original packaging.
